Making a Difference in Your Community

Every day we are faced with the challenge of trying to solve the health care crisis in our communities. Most uninsured individuals will forego medical treatment until their condition is acute or it is too late to intervene. Providing access to affordable routine and preventive care for these uninsured individuals will help them find and establish a relationship with a primary physician.

In Arizona we have 3 community programs that have partnered with ASPA to ensure that no one gets left behind when it comes to health care. HealthCare Connect (Maricopa County), Pima Community Access Program (Pima County) and Santa Cruz Health Connection (Santa Cruz County) were created to link eligible uninsured residents to affordable, comprehensive health care through a highly discounted network of health care providers. These programs target individuals within their communities who earn too much money to qualify for AHCCCS yet they can.t afford to purchase individual coverage or they aren.t eligible for employer sponsored coverage.
